Dr. Heechin Chae is the Medical Director of IOH and Senior Mentor of the IOH Academy. He is quadruple certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Pain Medicine, Brain Injury Medicine, and Functional Medicine. Dr. Chae is a graduate of the Medical College of Virginia and completed his postgraduate training at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital and Cambridge Hospital, Harvard Medical School. His professional experience includes Associate Professor, Rehabilitation Medicine, at Georgetown University Medical School; Department Chair, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, MedStar Washington Hospital Center; Associate Professor, at Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, Bethesda, Maryland; Fort Belvoir Community Hospital, Intrepid Spirit One – TBI/PH Center Director; Fort Belvoir Community Hospital, Department Chief, Traumatic Brain Injury; Assistant Professor, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Harvard Medical School; Director of Fellowship, Brain Injury Medicine, Harvard Medical School; Associate Medical Director, Traumatic Brain Injury Model System, Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital; Director of Fellowship, Pain Medicine, Harvard Medical School; Director, Brain Injury Program, Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital.
