Dr. Evelyn Vasquez’s academic and clinical training and experience spans custody evaluations, crisis management, inpatient and outpatient individual therapy, couples therapy, family therapy, psychological evaluations, neuropsychological evaluations, presurgical evaluations, clinical supervision, clinical program development, clinical leadership, organizational psychology, and behavioral health treatment.
Prior to becoming a psychologist, Dr. Vasquez earned a Master of Science degree from San Diego State University (SDSU) in Homeland Security. While at SDSU, she studied counterterrorism, emergency preparedness, organized crime, and international relations. Most notably, she took part in a simulated earthquake simulation, based in San Diego, which included 49 countries, multiple branches of military, law enforcement, first responders, and numerous private organizations. As a former athlete, Dr. Vasquez has a passion for sports psychology, including mental skills, resiliency, mental toughness, and identity development.
