About David Picone
Battalion Chief Picone is the SDFD Health & Safety Officer and San Diego County Health & Safety Section Chair. He received the 2020 Chief Sandy Davis Safety Officer of the Year award from the IAFC and FDSOA. His passion is to assist First-Responders in all forms of crisis, i.e., behavioral, physical, cancer, etc. He has thirty (30) years in the fire service. He is also a credentialed vocational fire science and medical course studies instructor.
