Dr. Sarah Goozeé is Vice President of Care Navigation for Boomerang Healthcare, with 15+ years of experience in the medical field treating chronic pain utilizing biopsychosocial approach. Dr. Goozeé completed her doctorate in Clinical Psychology and a Masters’ degree with an emphasis on Health Psychology at Alliant International University in San Francisco. She has worked in community mental health clinics and a variety of medical facilities including large HMOs since 2002. Dr. Goozeé has worked in a Functional Restoration Program (FRP) as a clinical psychologist and program director utilizing cognitive behavioral strategies treating psychological factors that commonly interfere with recovery and effective pain management. Over the years, she has served as a Psychology Professor, Program Director and Dean of Academic Affairs. Dr. Goozeé has also served on the board of multiple nonprofits serving those with chronic pain, as well as professional workshops for providers in the field
