Patrick Robinson is a veteran workers' compensation professional, having worked as an attorney, judge, and former Director of the Louisiana Office of Workers' Compensation. In his current role as Vice President of Government Affairs for ODG by MCG, he works with regulators and stakeholders across the country to improve workers' comp outcomes with evidence-based medical solutions.
Patrick received his undergraduate degree from Southeastern Louisiana University in 1988. A distinguished military graduate, he served as an infantry officer in the United States Army before returning to Louisiana State University to attend law school. He received his juris doctorate in 1994 and represented litigants in the workers' comp system for many years before being appointed as a workers' comp judge and then OWC Director.
Before joining ODG in 2020, Patrick worked as a regional director for the Workers' Compensation Research Institute (WCRI), and as a partner with the law firm of Allen & Gooch. In a fit of pandemic boredom, he earned his MBA from SLU in 2021 with a concentration in healthcare administration.
