Skilled in medical and disability management, regulatory compliance, strategic planning and process improvement, Sharon has a long history of creating and implementing managed care cost containment programs such as utilization review (UR), nurse case management (NCM), nurse advocate and early intervention programs. Sharon strongly values client partnerships and is strongly passionate about building highly effective and cohesive teams. Sharon has led her teams to achieve outstanding, measurable results in opioid management, decreasing total opioid usage for injured employees, and producing IMR uphold rates that exceed state averages.
