Felicia Amenta has over 30 years of experience in the workers' compensation arena working with insurance companies, employers, third party administrators, health care providers, and self-insured public entities. She has her Self Insured Plan certificate and her Workers' Compensation Claims Administration certificate, and has completed the Essentials in Risk Pool Management in the State of California. She previously was the Claims Manager of the San Diego office for the third party administrator, Sedgwick. Currently, Felicia is responsible for the CA self-insured workers' compensation program for the San Diego County Schools Risk Management JPA with over 60 school districts, community colleges, and charter school members in their workers' compensation pool. She is responsible for the oversight of their contracted third party administrator, Athens Administrators who handles their workers' compensation claims and she manages their Medical Provider Network (MPN) with Anthem Blue Cross, Kaiser on the Job, and all other ancillary contracted medical providers. Felicia currently serves on the board as Vice Chair of the San Diego PARMA Chapter and Past President of the San Diego RIMS Chapter.
