Wendy Humphrey is currently a Home Office Workers Compensation Director of Settlement Strategy for AIG Property Casualty in their Commercial division out of San Diego, CA. In this current role, Wendy provides technical oversight, analysis and settlement authority to claims professionals within AIG handling CA workers compensation cases while giving ongoing direction on creative strategies for settling a wide range of cases from the delayed/ denied claims to some of the most catastrophic workers compensation cases. Wendy has worked for AIG in various positions including Hearing Representative, Litigation Manager and Complex Claims Director since 1988. In addition to her various positions with AIG, she was responsible for organizing, coordinating, and conducting training for the adjusting staff in San Diego and other CA offices on all aspects of CA workers compensation case law and statutory/regulatory changes. Wendy is currently an active member of the CWCI legal committee. She graduated from Cal State Fullerton with a Bachelors degree in Communications & Advertising. She is avid kayaker and loves Pilates. She currently lives in San Pasqual Valley with her husband Lewis, a retired San Diego Firefighter and her two cats Sophie and Soy
