Steve Appell is a hearing representative and Lien Specialist for a Southern California TPA. He has a WCCP designation from the Insurance Education Association and his Self Insured license from the State of California. Steve has made over 1,000 board appearances and has settled, negotiated, and/or litigated over 10,000 liens. He has also held many classes and seminars and has written various literature about liens. Steve graduated from Valley College with a degree in Speech Communications in 1986. He then started his own business in sales & marketing. In 1991 he entered the field of workers compensation working for a Southern California carrier in their SIU unit.
